Barry L. Albright

Barry Albright, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 19, 1953, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Barry was the beloved son of Edward Albright and Margaret Albright. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith. Barry and his beloved wife, Pamela Dale Albright, shared 47 wonderful years together, marked by their deep love and mutual respect. Together, they raised their son, Bruce, who, along with his wife Katie, blessed Barry and Pam with three adored grandchildren: Beckham, Blair, and Bonnie. Barry's family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Barry built a successful career in Facility Management, retiring from Quest Diagnostics Lab after many years of dedicated service. He was known for his boundless energy, quick willingness to lend a helping hand, and his humble spirit. Barry was happiest working behind the scenes, never seeking recognition or attention for his efforts. Barry loved the outdoors and found peace and joy in mountain biking and hiking. He also loved cars, auto racing and spending time in his garage! More than anything, Barry loved spending time with his loved ones, always ready to help in any way he could. Barry was an active member of Clarkston Community Church, where he generously shared his gift of service in various ways. His strong faith in Jesus was a cornerstone of his life, reflected in a note found in his handwriting that quoted 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, encouraging all to "Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens." Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2026 with a service to celebrate Barry's life at 12:00 PM at Clarkston Community Church, 6300 Clarkston Road, Clarkston, Michigan 48346. Anyone who really knew Barry, knew that his favorite attire was blue jeans and a T-shirt! To honor Barry, feel free to dress casually!!
