Kim A. Lloyd

Kim A. Lloyd, age 72 of Davisburg, MI, went home to be with the Lord and be reunited with many family and friend on August 8, 2026. Kim is lovingly survived by the love of his life for 51 years Cristy, pride and joy daughter Heather, best friend and son in law Brandon, Grand dog and therapy dog Riley, siblings; Kris (Lane) Lloyd, Robert (Theresa) Goforth, Ruth Goforth and John Goforth, In-laws; Lana (Greg) Piece, Crystal Bentley, Dennis (Sue) Wise and Thonda Lloyd, nieces and nephews; Faye, Ryan (Aimee) Willow, Sawyer, Elisa Megan (Bryan), Emma, Brynn (Scott) Andrew (Kylene), Presley, Angela (Ronny), Tyler, Mae Lynn (Greg) and Melissa Pierce and countless cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Hal and Joyce, Charles Goforth, in-laws Ron and Betty Wise, brother Guy Lloyd and sister Linda Lloyd. Kim was a service technician at Dryaton Heating, playground supervisor at Davisburg Elementary, Candlemaker at the Davisburg Candle Factory and custodian and lawn maintenance at the First Baptist Church. He was married and attended 1st Baptist Church, which is now Springview for almost 60 yrs where he was a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, usher, sang in choir, played on the bowling league, and men’s softball and basketball team and was friends to many, who have attended there over the years. Following that, he attended Andersonville Community for a short time. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed sports of all kinds, the outdoors, drawing, southern gospel music, and spending time with family and friends (where he was known to be the life of the party). The family would like to express their deep gratitude to those who selflessly cared for Kim during the last 2-1/2 yrs at Well Bridge. Marci, Rae, Terilyn, Chelsi, Madison, Bree, Eveline, Carol, Therapist-Allison, Anthony, Andrew, Michelle and many others, including Kelly, Nora, Scott and Liz from Compassus Hospice. They all were Kim’s second family and Heather’s lifeline and now lifelong friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his love and faith, will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on through his family and the countless lives he has touched along the way. To honor Kim’s love for the Detroit Tigers the family is encouraging you to wear Detroit Tiger colors or Tiger attire. It’s not what’s on the outside, it’s what in the heart.
