In Loving Memory Yvonne Carilon Beasley Born in Newport, Arkansas on May 29, 1943 Passed away May 26, 2025 – Grand Blanc, Michigan "Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord." —Matthew 25:23 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Yvonne Carilon Beasley, a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring Grandma and Great Grandma (Gigi), and a faithful servant of the Lord. Surrounded by her family, Yvonne went home to be with her Savior on May 26, 2025, in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Born in Newport, Arkansas on May 29, 1943, Yvonne lived a life defined by grace, strength, service, and unwavering faith. She was the beloved wife of Roy Beasley, and the devoted mother of Theresa (Fred) Weaver, Robin (Joel) Luallen, Roy Beasley, and Paul (Ursula) Beasley. She was blessed with grandchildren: Chelsea (Dakota) Leming, Caleb (Haley) Weaver, Joel Luallen II, and Jasmine Luallen. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Remington Leming and Eleanor Weaver, who lovingly called her “Gigi.” She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Nash Leming, whom she now joins in Heaven. Yvonne was a woman of many talents and a tireless worker. She was a dedicated homemaker, a gifted hair stylist, a respected Church Administrative Assistant, and later served as the Office Manager at Midwest Bridge Construction Company. A cornerstone of her church, Yvonne served as the Church Administrative Assistant and lovingly taught children’s Sunday School. She also gave her time generously as a volunteer at both her church and the local grade school, blessing countless lives with her presence, laughter, and servant’s heart. Yvonne loved to laugh. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—watching birds and sunsets, kayaking, fishing, and peaceful pontoon rides at the family’s cherished lake house. Her happiest moments were those spent with her family and friends, whom she cherished deeply. She was a great cook, known for her doll cakes, canning, and her homemade biscuits and gravy—a family favorite that brought everyone together around the table with full hearts and full plates. She was our rock. Our prayer warrior. A pillar of strength and comfort. A shoulder to cry on. Her steadfast faith in God was the foundation upon which she raised her family. Because of her love and example, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren walk with the Lord today. Her wisdom, patience, and unconditional love shaped our lives in countless ways. Her presence to her family and friends was a constant source of strength and comfort. Her kindness had no boundaries. Though our hearts ache with her absence, we find comfort in knowing that she lives within us—in the love she taught us to give, the strength she taught us to carry, and the joy that she gave us. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Yvonne is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, A. L. and Gertrude Harris; her siblings, Joyce Vester and Gene Harris; and her great-grandson, Nash Leming. A celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held at Dryer Funeral Home, 101 First Street, Holly, Michigan, on Friday, May 30, 2025.
