Janet E. Smock, age 87, of Highland, died Sun. Dec. 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Tues. Dec. 3, 2019 at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly with Pastor Ed Pedley officiating. Visitation will be from 2-6 PM Tues. Mrs. Smock was born on Christmas Day in 1931 in Egg Harbor, NJ to Louis and Theresa (Marineo) Hanselmann. She always considered herself to be a Jersey girl. She loved flowers, plants, bird watching, and burning candles. Surviving are her son Daniel (Debra) Smock, daughter Kyle (Jeff) Jones; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Smock, Ashleigh Baynes, Jennifer Jones, and Nicolas Jones; sisters Esther and Judy; and brother Carl.
