Lanny T. Lloyd

Lanny T. Lloyd, age 69, of Highland, died Sat. Jan. 30, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Fri. Feb.5, 2021 at the Cornerstone Church of Highland. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation with social distancing restrictions will be from 2-5 and 7-9 PM Thurs. at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly. Mr. Lloyd was born in Flint on July 14, 1951 to Henry and Minnie Lou (Lancaster) Lloyd. Lanny was a loving, dedicated and supporting husband, father and grandfather, and he loved spending time with his grandkids. He was retired from General Motors and was a Fenton High School Varsity Baseball coach for 18 years. He attended the Cornerstone Church., was an avid chess player, and loved to watch Jeopardy. Surviving are his wife Paula; 5 children, David Lloyd,Danielle Shorrock, Kelly Benson, Heather Israel, and Aubree Lloyd; 12 grandchildren, Mitchell, Zachary, Wesley, Sawyer, Ayla, Emmett, Luke, Isabel, Arthur, Desmond, Hendrick, and Hazel; 7 siblings, Will Lloyd, Nina Lloyd, Ina Veenhuis, Terry Lloyd, Rita Lloyd, Zach Lloyd, and Rochelle Hanner.
