Marshal D. Zinn

September 5, 1951 - October 26, 2021

Marshal Duane Zinn (September 5, 1951 – October 26, 2021) Marshal Duane Zinn went on to peacefully be with our Lord, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 He will be sorely missed by his wife, Wendy Ann (Case), children: Catherine Marie Vogler (husband-Mark Vogler), Heather Ann Krupic (husband-Eric Krupic), Jeremy Edward Zinn (wife-Kelly Zinn), Tracy Elizabeth Zinn (husband-Jeff Starr), Siblings: Nancy Shaver (husband-Ron Shaver), Patty Bunch (husband-Paul Bunch), Tom Zinn (wife-Sherri Zinn). 13 Grandchildren, Spencer, Alexis, Savannah, Victoria, Grace, Caleb, Eric Jr, Ava, Cameron, Taylor, Dresden (and bonus grandchildren Catherine (John), Christian, Joey, bonus great grandchildren Eleanor, Penelope). Marshal was a man who changed tremendously in his many years’. You may have met him in the years he needed the most change. But those of us who stuck around for the journey know that he changed for the better and was doing what he could to become a better man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Some would say Marshal had his fathers’ ability to debate (oh lord did he), to tell good stories like his dad, to work HARD even when sick. Some will miss him for his humor, his infectious smile (when you got him to smile). If he was here today: He would tell you all: Don’t sit around crying about me! I am no longer in any pain, I don’t have that broken down body. I no longer need to worry about who is or isn’t in control of this world. Don’t dwell on what happened and why I chose to not go seek help, I went the way I wanted peacefully in my own home. He would say I am proud of my children, and grandchildren. I am thankful for my wife putting up with me all those years even when I was unbearable. Please go on in life knowing this last year of my life I enjoyed more than so many years prior. As I spent this last year with my family doing the things I loved. Learn from my life that time with your family is so very important, cherish those moments don’t have regrets! www.dryerfuneralhomeholly.com
