Richard Stephen Putz, age 77, of Holly, died Sun. March 10, 2019. He was born on Aug. 11, 1941 in Sandusky, Mi. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the Holly VFW. He was also a member of the planning commission and the historic district commission for the Village of Holly. Surviving are his daughter Elizabeth Putz; 2 step-children Starla Zehr (Duane Koehler) and Kelson Zehr; sister Ruth Shank, and niece Dawn Bradley. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen and sister Mary Bradley. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Thurs. March 14, 2019 at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly. Military honors and burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM Thurs. until the time of the service.
