Steven John Marsh, age 69, of Holly, died Feb. 21, 2017. He was born in Holly on June 29, 1947 to John and Sarah (Vliet) Marsh. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Army and was awarded the Purple Heart. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and University of Michigan Football. He is survived by 3 children, Tamela Marsh of IL, Tara Coleman of Flint, and Steven (Amanda) Marsh Jr. of Clio; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Sue Hansard of Holly, Sandy (Mike) Farthing, and Sally Dennie of Swartz Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sharon Marsh. Military honors, graveside services and burial will be at 12:30 PM Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly with Pastor Cliff Schroeder officiating.
