In Loving Memory of Carol M. Poole (Bunce) Carol M. Poole (Bunce), age 76, of Fenton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Carol was born on November 29, 1949. She lived a life defined by unconditional love, kindness, and devotion to her family. To those who knew her, she wasn’t just a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother—she was the heart of the family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She is survived by her devoted husband, Edward Poole Jr.; her loving children, Jodie Irvan (Roger) and Edward Poole (Kim); her cherished grandchildren, Amber Arkles (Scott), Tyler Barber, and Owen Poole; and her adored great-grandchildren, Liliana and Chloe Arkles. She is also survived by her brother, Ray Bunce, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, lifelong friends, and all whose lives were touched by her love and friendship. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Jaydi Torres; her parents, Cleatus and Helen Bunce; and her brother, Randy Bunce. For many years, Carol dedicated herself to serving her community as a school bus driver. She was known for her caring nature and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—watching birds, crocheting thoughtful gifts for those she loved, working on puzzles, and creating her famous homemade lotion that family and friends cherished. She loved to dance whenever an Elvis Presley song came on, and her laughter and joyful spirit could brighten any room. Above all else, Carol was the best wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She loved with her whole heart, gave without expecting anything in return, and always made those around her feel special. Her love was a gift that will continue to live on through her family for generations to come. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Dryer Funeral Home in Holly, Michigan. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Carol’s beautiful life and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her.
